Make Your Own Intention Pen + Junk Journaling Session • Sunday, August 30, 2026 @ 4:00 - 7:00PM

Join us at The Re-Creation Studio for an afternoon of intuitive creating, upcycling, journaling, and connection.

We’ll begin by creating your own special intention pen—a functional little piece of art made with crystals, stones, beads, trinkets, found objects, and whatever speaks to you.

Then we’ll use our new pens for a relaxed junk journaling session.

You’ll receive your own journal and have access to the Studio’s collection of upcycled and creative materials to transform the pages—and even the journal itself—into something uniquely yours.

Think fabric scraps, wallpaper, magazine clippings, ribbon, buttons, beads, paper, jewelry pieces, little trinkets, paint, textures, and all kinds of unexpected treasures waiting for another life.

There is no right way to do this.

Your journal can become a place for intentions, wishes, memories, gratitude, ideas, manifestations, sketches, collage—or simply whatever wants to come out that day.

✨ BRING A LITTLE PIECE OF YOURSELF

You’re encouraged to bring your own crystals, beads, charms, broken jewelry, tiny trinkets, photographs, ticket stubs, scraps of meaningful paper, fabric, or other small treasures you’d like to incorporate into your pen or journal.

Nothing is required—we’ll have plenty here.

But there’s something special about taking an object you’ve been holding onto and giving it a completely new purpose.

What Is Junk Journaling?

Junk journaling is a wonderfully imperfect way of creating a journal using found, saved, recycled and everyday materials.

Instead of staring at a perfect blank page wondering what you’re supposed to write, you build your pages through layers—paper, words, images, textures, memories, doodles, paint, scraps and whatever catches your attention.

Nothing has to match. Nothing has to be perfect.

That’s kind of the point.

And at The Re-Creation Studio, we’re especially interested in the things other people might overlook.

What can this become?

Registration Policy

Your registration reserves one seat and includes your journal, pen, materials and use of Studio supplies. Because materials and space are prepared in advance, workshop registrations are non-refundable. Can’t make it? You’re welcome to transfer your seat to someone else.
